Just go buy one. Write the review that nobody else has done.

The old style pelican I hear has 7-10 days I was wanting a 20 qt and Kysek only has 26 qt, btw would just buy one but hate to spend 250 with no real opinions on Pelican and the old ones only can buy at some stores and they are not all good return policies

i personally havent used a pelican cooler though if you are on the market for cooler I would recommend taking a look at an Orca cooler, they are very similar to pelican/yeti in terms of quality and have amazing ice retention

My feet are kicked up on my Pelican right now, I've had it for about two years now. It comes on tour with me and and puts up with an incredible amount of abuse. I've watched it tumble down a sidewalk after falling out of a golf cart and it was fine. Earlier this year one of my buddies broke a latch and Pelican sent me two new latches for free. It's a 35qt and is one heavy #######. However, in 90ºf+ weather, like I have right now, the ice will last 4-5 days, even though it's sitting in an empty trailer that's baking in the sun. In mild weather it will easily keep ice for a week or more. Restocking it with room temperature bottled water will make the ice melt FAR faster than any weather conditions. If I had to buy it again I wouldn't hesitate, and I'd probably get a bigger one too.
