anyone have any working experience with them? They hire grads right out of school and they have local positions available. I know they have a petroleum division, milk division and dry van division.
I am looking at them when I graduate driving school. BTW I am in the Syracuse, NY area.
Anyone have any experience with Wadhams Enterprises?

Probably get more responses on the "Questions From New Drivers" thread.
One driver on that thread used to haul milk for Wadhams. -

Been around a while never really heard anything bad. Don’t think they are going anywhere so if you get in you’ll probably have job security.
If you are interested in milk hauling look at Alnye out of Cortland also they are always looking for road and local milk haulers.Chinatown and TugHillRider Thank this. -
Tall Mike Thanks this.

I almost want to say Coventry Carriers or something like that ? -
I worked for Wadhams in Allentown PA hauling milk for about a year.
RIST, their dry van operation had LTL delivery runs as well as short, regional line haul runs. I don’t know anything about the petroleum side of the company.
Pay was decent. I drove a newer, reliable truck with low miles. I picked up milk at farms then made a delivery to the dairy in the afternoon. Some drivers transport loaded trailers to the dairy while others do the farm pickups.
Paid by the hour, four days on, two off. Typically work 60-70 hours a week but sometimes you might go beyond that.
It was a pretty laid back and enjoyable job all in all.TugHillRider Thanks this. -
I worked for ARG (fuel) out of Rensselaer, NY (Albany/Troy)
Pay was all right. Do your job and stay out of the drama, they'd leave you alone.
We did a lot of Stewart's shops with gas. #6 FO to the paper plants and prisons. Did the Sunoco stations on the Thruway when Sandri couldn't cover them.
If they'll give you a start, take it. You could do a lot worse. Suck it up 1 or 2 years, keep your record clean, then go get your dream job. Good luck!TugHillRider Thanks this. -
Yup that’s my plan. Was also thinking of DOT Foodshomeskillet Thanks this.
