Anyone have any info on Amerifreight ??

Let me give you the deal on Amerifreight. They are one of those foreign owned companies. You'll be paid with a 1099 even if you are a company driver. They expect you to drive well over HOS all the time, and their CSA numbers prove it. The numbers are high just like every other company based in Chicago. Don't expect regular maintenance as that doesn't happen. You will be shorted on pay constantly. Stay away from these companies. You'll know them by the name not being on the door but on the lower part of the sleeper, based in Chicagoland and a completely Volvo fleet. A lot go out of business only to open with a different name because they are either shut down or can't find insurance due to continued safety and HOS violations.

I'm more of a black metal fan but can appreciate some good grindcore. Schnieder isn't a bad company. They get crap because they are big but for the most part fair and will keep you pretty busy. You could do a lot worse than Schnieder.
