Milk has been fun up here in Michigan and I am going to certainly miss my Western Star glider, feels like home .
But I need to get my Butt back to Florida this fall.

Indian River wants a year of tanker of which I am coming up on 6 months, which CTL will take for experience.

Their advertising 60cpm start with 2500 mile quotes.Newer Macs yadda yadda yadda.

Let’s hear the Good the Bad, the Ugly.

    VIDEODROME Thanks this.

Dang, thinking about starting here. But the lack of current information is disconcerting.

I drive with CTL. To make this real short I will say right at the top that the money is exactly what they promise. No bs there at all. The problem is they cannot seem to keep me rolling. I’m a road warrior and virtually live in my truck trying to make money. But it’s hard getting miles. You do get $100 a day if you don’t roll, but that ain’t crap to me. I’m not out here to sit, yet i do it a lot. They just have a very serious problem with keeping drivers moving. The only reason i’m still with them is that they pay better than any company out there. But it is hard to regularly clear $1000 a week. $45-50,000 a year is the current “take home”. Don’t believe anyone that tells you different. And you have to be a road warrior to do that. Lots of hours. Myself, I’m not far away from walking away.
To be fair to the company, they have never lied about money, bonuses or anything except the expected mileage. And I believe the pay is absolutely the only way they are able to retain a work force at the current time.
My name is Butch Petty, out of Jacksonville and that is the truth about CTL, aka Comcar.
    Good luck

sounds to me like it will be a waste of time me going to orientation in Louisiana this Monday if that's true. That's one of the main reasons why I left Schneider was sitting around with nothing to do. Is it may be because we're coming out of the winter and they're just a little slow? Some tanking companies go through that. Or has it always been slow since you been there?
