Anyone have info on Alabama Motor Express?

Hi deann does amx have any dedicated freight? What kind of freight do you haul? Where in the north east does amx run? Im supposed to start in january.

 

.36 cpm is kind of low isn't it? A lot of company's are starting drivers out at .39 cpm plus now. Seems like driver pay is starting to climb, at least where I have talked.

 

.36 cpm is only if you go over the 2499 mile threshold.. you get .30 cpm if you do not reach that amount. They do have dedicated routes but I have no idea how to get them.. We haul general freight, from Paper Rolls to Windshields to Beer, bunch of stuff. I have went as Far as Maine in the Northeast, we do no go to Canada..

 

They really do treat you as part of the family at AMX an get you the miles if you like to keep your doors shut. They have been slowly raising the pay rate so who knows if we will get a raise this year. Trucks governed at 65mph, 2014 volvos and prostars with tripak APUs. I just really do not like the sliding payscale and thats is my only issue with them.. last week I got 2481 miles.. 19 miles from an extra 150 dollars.
