Hi all,
I am see Rosenau Transport in Edmonton is hiring for line haul.
Does anyone have and experience running for Rosenau out of the Edmonton terminal?
What are the runs like? What is the schedule like?
Pros? Cons?
Pay seems decent and from what I see of their fleet it's newer and well maintained.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
Anyone have info on line haul Rosenau -Edmonton

Line-Haul at Rosenau is Long Combination Vehicle.
It is easy to work for Rosenau. The work environment is good, small company feel in a large company. Everybody will know your name.
If you do not have LCV Rosenau does in-house training.
Runs are usually within 1000 kilometers so you can get them done in a shift if you want to be home every night. Rosenau also has runs that will keep you married to your truck, if you so desire. Talk with your hiring agent or your dispatcher if life changes while employed there.
Rosenau does not slip-seat, your truck will be yours.
Cons? Rosenau is not perfect but what company is?Last edited: Dec 23, 2022
Another Canadian driver, Albertaflatbed, jcatel and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thanks for the input!
I spoke with them last week, was set up for an interview and then was in an accident the night before.
Had to cancel but plan to touch base once I'm finished physiotherapy and back in shape.
Hit an industrial tote full of frozen sand that came off a semi infront of me. Fortunately I was in my personal 1 ton truck as I hit it at 100kmh...timing sucks but the job sounds like what I'm looking for.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
I knew someone in the office there in GP and last I heard they weren’t paying very much. Still the case?

Line haul rate was decent, $90,000-118,000 per year average depending on how you want to run.
Local p&d was hourly but too low. They are advertising $23-24 per hour.Another Canadian driver Thanks this.
