Robert Nelson Bramer. Usually went by Bob. He was one of the heads of Coors transportation safety prior to Steinbecker. I believe Bob Carroll and Everett Bristow would have worked there at about the same time.
also my uncle worked there busting tires, Ron kohler.
Anyone have old stories on Steinbecker Bros.?

Do you remember Mountain States Transportation? most of the trucks were red KW T-600s. My dad drove #10 which was a 1989 Marmon, red, with the double sleeper. Always pulled dry bulk pneumatic tanks.

My dad was was the safety direct there back in the late 70's. I was 6 or 7 the first time I got a ride around the yard in a Monfort truck. I thought it was the coolest thing -
I moved this past summer. I was unpacking boxes and I found several old Steinbecker Brothers baseball caps, and a still in the plastic wrapper Steinbecker Brothers belt buckle along with an even older monfort transportation belt buckle. Sure brings back the memories.

Didn't those orange trucks say Trucking for Jesus? I asked a couple of ex-Steinbecker hands about that, and they laughed and said 'more like truckin for Jesse'
