Anyone headed from springfield,mo goin south?

I can't say for sure, but I recall that they aren't paid on the basis of numbers brought in. There is usually a backlog of folks trying to get trained at Prime.

They only do that to folks they catch in a lie concerning their background, get caught trying to adulterate a drug test - something that would be considered for termination if you were an employee.

OP says there is a "hold" on his license. What didn't he tell them?

 

I use a large brown paper grocery bag on which I neatly print the next city where people are likely heading. Big BOLD black letters.
Be holding a book.
I got rides quickly. Even drove a man's RV for him so that he could rest.
When I got to that city, make a new sign with the next big city.

 

My question is how did you end up at prime. You have a trainnig school down in saucier,ms. I'm not a negative person but how did you not know your license were suspended or that you had a hold. And as far as them checking your record the recruiter only does a preliminary check and then you get a complete check when you get there. I think prime is a very good company but i just don't like staying out on the road for months at a time. I did exactly what you did by taking a chance and going up there and going through their program. I made a little money, played ball with the owner and excutives. Go on the prime board on the inside scoop thread on this site and maybe one of the prime guys will give you a ride. All the guys i met there were very nice and helpful (which is rare)... You're correct. I ran 60 a bunch. I got it mixed up with 62/65 that runs down through AR. But yes 60/63. One of them routes, you go "that way" and point. Then once in Memphis, I-55 Jackson and 49 to Gulfport.
