Not sure if it helps out. We have a Courier Express in the Ohio / PA / WV Tristate area. Generic name and doubt the same company. It's a 1099 here. None of my business and tell me to eff off. 20 years experience, I'd run.

What kind of experience do you have( dry van, intermodel, walking floor, lowboy, LTL, Reefer etc etc etc ) and what endorsements? Friendly bunch in this section, Help you out much as possible. Any dings on your Criminal / Driving history?

Thanks bud... I have a link I threw up there maybe take a peek and see if it the same CO.. I have Mainly Van/furniture experience. After my back said enough of that crap I pulled doubles for a bit."few yrs" Got out of the trucking scene for a bit bit circumstances have me back looking into the field. I have a perfect DR back ground etc. I do have my Tankers but no experience. I had my Hazmat but after 911 they wanted to do a back ground check and I didn't want to spend the $$ at the time.

So now looking for some LTL work.. Not ready to go over the road again... But that might change in 30-45 days if Im still unemployed.. With a 3 yr old at home Im not looking forward to that..

thanks for chiming in and taking the time

Checked out your link and posted my response above, It's just a Generic company name and hard to tell if it's a franchise name or whatever to make a company look bigger then it is for 1099 work.

Have you tried pounding the pavement( brick and mortars ) and getting with other drivers from the area getting some "insider info"

Looks similar to the place I worked for a couple years ago. Different company but same business model. They ran everything from company owned dry vans to company owned and O/O straight trucks for local work, cargo vans down to one guy had a smart car. A lot of final mile for air freight and mail order. Lot of str8 truck LTL stuff.

i was an IC driving my own cargo van, didn't make tons of money, but enough. Enjoyed the work though, got to see and got into places I didn't know even existed, in the town I grew up in.

See what the recruiter says as about what drivers average, and expect to make a out 80% of that realistically. Otherwise, like I always say, doesn't cost anything to fill out the application.
