did you have an accident that was preventable if you got a ticket for it?
I see people who've gotten a ticket after an accident like a lane change or something where they're at fault and issue the ticket that when you go to renew your CDL for some reason it says you got to retake your tests..
Anyone Heard of this before

There is no written test to get a class A license, only to get the operators permit and any additional certifications like hazmat and tankers. Either you misunderstood, or the clerk didn't know what they were talking about. If you are already a class A license holder there is no written test to renew it in any state. At least not yet.

The idiot said that it's something random that DMV is doing. No child support my medical card expires in 2021. I am going to try a different location today and speak to a supervisor.

do you have the hazmat endorsement?
maybe in the past, ca did not have you people retake THAT test at renewal times.Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
I do have the Hazmat, tanker and double/triple endorsement. There is an accident on my record in my work truck, but it's not mine it. My company says they would take care of it but never did. My paperwork even says I have to do my driving test again. When I said that the idiot said I have to do everything again. I meant everything.
Lepton1 and Rideandrepair Thank this.
