I am a weak dick. I thought that cravings and hunger were gone but I got home yesterday in the morning and my wife made herself a bagel with a cream cheese, put a fresh slice of tomato with fresh bits of onions on the top and it smelled and looked good ... so I snatched it from her and ate it like a bandit. That's it! It means the end of it.I thought I was past that keto flue but the thought of drinking more butter coffee or eating salad flooded with olive oil was too nauseating.
The amount of water keto releases at first is astounding. After 9 days I got literately 12 lbs less!!!!!
Not getting enough fiber on this diet seems to be problem...as someone mentioned earlier - I too started missing normal turd.
I doubt it is a healthy diet as a life long commitment though. Maybe it is good for obese people, who can't literally walk more than 5 minutes at the time, but only until they can shed enough fat to be able to move around more.
They say that Cavemen were eating like that and they were healthy. Well maybe but their life span was 30-40 years. Did they all die by a kill?
Maybe if they had eaten healthy fruits and veggies and all the nutrients and vitamins that come with them, they would have lived longer. Maybe next generations were utilizing the very carbs more efficiently and they extended their longevity.

I don't want to discourage anyone - I am a weak dick but I can still go for a 3 hour walk in the park and or go to the gym and lift weights - If I had no alternative I would have stuck to it. I guess I'll start with quitting on Dunking Donuts on my way to the truck and then stop treating myself with Starbucks grande mocha everytime as I go on I 80 in Indiana or Ohio.

Not really, I asked about that a while back and basically got told there wasn't much difference.
It's probably good to know that keto causes explosive diarreah

Depends on the person really. Some people are on the diet and don't even notice a difference

I've been on it for several years now. At my peak I was just shy of 300, now I float between 230 and 250, depending how strict I'm being.
