    Im currently in training, getting bored in the hotel room. Is anyone passing through or stopping in Carlisle? Id love to meet a forum member, shoot some BS and maybe learn a bit from an experienced trucker.

    Don’t know exactly Where you are in Carlisle...but BBQ place across from the Beacon is pretty much full of drivers....open till 2
    Or just up the street closer to 81 there’s a lounge in the Days Inn....Both will fill you up with all the super trucker BS you can possibly handle
    Course you could always go to the Restaurant in the Petro...where you can be pretty much inundated with stories that begin with..,
    Y’all ain’t gonna believe this ####

    I was already at the BBQ place, didnt meet any of the super truckers. Met a nice lady, we chatted for a few minutes before i got my food and left. Staying in the hotel with the lounge, might go check that out.

    Ive got 2/3 on that, but add borderline broke. Might hop on the bus to wally world tomorrow night and grab some stuff so im not burning through my money eating out. I dont want to put the trucker 20 on before i even get in the truck.
