This is the fuel cooler they run on KW's from the factory in Aus. Sorry it is really hard to get a good picture as it is under the radiator. It is a 2 pass, entry and exit on the same side and it is on the return line

I ve been installing fuel coolers on c15 & ISX engines to lower the fuel temps trucks were suffering with high temps and poor fuel i'm from Australia just coming into our summer where our temp will reach over 120 deg f or 45 deg c I have had coolers made up to suit with an inbuilt fan & mount them behind the cab install a Fass which drops fuel usage to 42-46 liters to 100 kms so I get good results with out doing anything else it's worth it in the end they usually pay for its self in 3 months if you do 3k miles a week

I think this is what he is talking about. You could mount it under the truck in the return line with a 150 deg or so thermal switch to turn the fan on and off. I dont think it will effect winter driving because if the fuel doesn't get above 150 it wont cool.

    FWIW:
Installing a transmission cooler, the kind one would put in their pick up for towing, in the fuel line was a very common practice on the early Series 60s.

If I was going to do it, I think I'd make it so that it could be bypassed in the winter. Depending on where the truck goes.

I am getting a high fuel temperture warning code and I have replaced the sensor that I hoped would make it go away that did not work.

Might need a fuel cooler on mine soon.

WOW! What's your 20? Here in western Oklahoma it's 20 F, 27 mph wind, windshield 2 F. Good luck and Merry Christmas to all.
