Threw the code spn 3251 fmi 2 on my 2017 t680 with an isx15 2350.

I'm not fond of the Kenworth shop out here in Reno and am looking for another shop in town that does good work. Any suggestions?

that code looks to be dpf differential pressure. check your sensor to make sure its not plugged up with soot before you put it in the shop.

Thanks, a quick search and a youtube video later and this looks like a pretty easy sensor to get to and replace. I'll pick one up and replace it and check the tubes going into it before taking it in to a repair shop.
Funny part is, the #### check engine light just went off. Going to pickup the sensor anyways. About to be heading east from Reno and definitely don't want to get stuck in Wyoming/Nebraska.

right on, these emissions systems have all kinds of sensors on them and they get plugged up with crap and go out and throw codes. lets us know what happens when you clean or replace it.

Idling emissions truck in the winter in freezing temps is a killer. This is literally what happens to the Delta P sensor as the soot hardens with condensation in the system.

You can buy a new delta P or you can maintain the one you have with annual cleanings. I cleaned it and my rig is back to normal. 20 min process.

Delta P is different than the differential pressure sensor but you think that code might be that sensor? My Delta P only has about 160,000 miles on it because I changed it, IMAPS, and temp sensor when I bought that truck just to be on the safe side. I dont idle because I have an APU with bunker heater/AC. Might be worth a look see just to be sure though.

not sure if it’s the same on a KW but my Delta P measures differential pressure on my DD15. Maybe I’m wrong but I cleaned out the 2 holes on the tube and my delta P sensor (or what I was told was the Delta P sensor) and, it’s working perfectly now.

Yeah that's the Delta P in the video for sure. I'll clean it immediately it's one of the easiest sensors to get to and check on an ISX.

the code you are getting is for the DPF differential pressure sensor , not to be confused with the EGR differential pressure sensor which most guys call the Delta P. they are 2 different sensors.

Ahh, see I saw differential pressure and thought delta P.
