Yeah, what the title says.
I'm looking into moving into more specialised areas of driving --so, so sick of freight-hauling/dock-bumping on almost every level-- and I've seen these guys' decks and tri-drive picker trucks around since...well, forever, it seems like.
But their website is a bit short on information and long on pretty truck-pictures (the aforementioned tri-drive pickers all seem to have 6+ inch dual stacks, though. That's good, innit<---sarcasm/cynicism).
I heard they are an O/Op heavy company, but with some fleet-drivers, and all get paid on percentage, though that was a few years ago now.
Anyone, anyone?
Thanks and huggles, mates.

Years ago they said that I wouldn't fit in operating a picker truck even though I had 8yrs of crane op (400t) and clean drivers license.
-
Did they say why?
-
I think (they didn't say) they thought I would get bored and quit on them.... Or afraid I was gonna try to bring in 955. That was years ago when they had the runned down house for an office on Barlow and if I remember right at the time they had mainly knuckle booms.

Ummmm...What means "955?"
Tired from looooong shift, brain no workie at the moment
-
OE 955... Union of Operating Engineers Local 955
-
Ah, 'K.
I'd imagine they would fear unions there. -
I hope you have changed your attitude and you might be successful there. Why dont you just call them and get whatever info you want strait from the horses mouth? If you are soooo tired of freight hauling then how is this gonna be any different? They haul freight too...all trucking companies do FYI...

CbarM is referring to since-gassed thread that he (and his sock-puppet, misremember the name) helped turn into 8 pages' worth of complete flame/troll-fest, which is why it got gassed. Surprised he wasn't banned for that, but whatev'...
To answer his question:
Because companies lie. If they didn't, then this whole bloody forum arguably wouldn't need to exist.
1/10, try harder.
Next!imnuts Thanks this.
