Yeah I tried YouTube and it has a bunch of morons shooting at bad angles so all I see is the top of their hand doing something.
-
You gotta put your man hands on... those things are a pain... I have them on my seats and you gotta push in really hard to get them to release...
best way to do it if you cant with your hands is take a crescent wrench and adjust it to the size of the hose and push in against the fitting using the wrench... and at the same time pull the line out...D.Tibbitt, Midwest Trucker, Muddydog79 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah it's not about the strength if I dont know what I am doing I am afraid I may break it and cause an air leak.
-
Even if u do break it, crimp the line over and throw some tape around it till u get to the parts store. I think they cost like 2 bucks
-
the button that u press to air the seat up is the blocker from the system,i hope u werent talking bout having to bleed whole truck system down lol
-
if air from the system had to bled that wld mean he has 120psi goin to seat at all times, what da hell.....i say what da hell are u thinking Mr.Truck Driver?D.Tibbitt and Muddydog79 Thank this.

They can't be the morons if they are able to get them apart.
It's not rocket science, push in on brass as hard as you can while pulling on airline. It will come out and you will not break it.Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
This sort of fitting is a godsend for the manufacturers who assemble the truck. Not so much when you have to take them apart, but worse, after they get some age and vibration on them, trying to get to them to replace them is tough.
