i went to c1 in indianapolis. cost was $4k if financed, $2k if paid up front (quite awhile ago, im sure numbers have probably changed). i paid up front, so cost of school to me after 1 year of employment at usa truck (or most any other company id chosen) was $800. i was reimbursed $100 per month for private school tuition, fairly standard among the starter companies. so $2000 - 1200 is how i arrive at the $800 cost. but even if id financed $4000, and say it was $4300 after a year of finance charges...total cost after 1 year would be 4300-1200 or $3100. about the same, with no contractual obligation to stay for a year or more at the starter company id chosen.

im back to....private school is the FAR better choice. research and make sure companies hire graduates from the school you choose. but there are private schools out there that will finance the total cost if necessary. this is nearly always a better option than going the company school route.

No. Sorry if I wasn't clear. You pay 500 up front. If you stay one year you only pay 2500 total. If you quit before one year you pay 4500 total.
