I am not sure of any good ones, but I can tell you of one to stay away from...

    First Continental Freight
    Carstairs, AB
    Great Falls, MT
    Riverside, CA

    Avoid them like the plague.

You WILL get screwed... and they don't even have the decency to give you a reach-around.

Agri Tel Transportation. Small comp. only about 25 Trucks. In my opinion the best Reefer comp. in Manitoba.

You will always have a well paying Job, if you are good in what you are doing. Your Parents or Grandparents where imported at one time(unless you are Native). So please give people a chance.

Imported workers drive wages down. There's no shortage of drivers but to many have given up on a driving career becuz of poor wages. Company's need to raise rates not keep importing drivers who will work for the same cheap rate they always pay.

    Yes.

To be clear it is generally not an issue with the drivers themselves, but the program they're brought in on and the companies that are sponsoring them. As far as skills go, many of the imports are very good drivers. I had a driver from England who immigrated to Canada that could back up a B-train faster and straighter than most guys could back a single trailer. Then again, I had a Polish driver that was terrible and a Frenchman tried to destroy my transmission on a test drive. ;)

BTW, all our drivers were landed immigrants / Canadian citizens and they were paid the same as all our drivers (including me).
