lilrobby,
Yes, you can haul regional. The pay for regional, I believe, is about a dollar a mile plus FSC.
Anyone know the best intermodal company running memphis, tn to nashville, tn for o/o

rollin coal,
Don't understand 23%, are you a driver, looking for 75% O/O. To me % is a joke, how do you know how much the load really is, plus fuel ? My truck runs on miles, thats what I see on the dash. -
I think what rollin meant was that his deadhead was 23% of his mileage.
-
Yeah 23% of those 46.5k miles were deadhead or 23 out of every 100 miles driven. Most times I don't know how much money is in a load that's going to be changing in the near future though. I do know exactly what the broker is paying, I negotiate that, and how much the company I'm leased to is getting. I'm not unhappy at all with the situation my truck moves for the rate I set. Percentage is the only way to truck. Mileage is a joke.

I lost my cdl and its killing me slowly trying to provide for the family with these infamous temp service warehouse jobs so me and the wife has decided to by a truck and hire a driver until 2020 when i can get back in the saddle my self . Any suggestions on who to lease on with ?

Terrible idea. One truck will not support 2 families. It also sounds like your finances are shaky already. You'll quickly go out of business instead of a slow bleed.
