Hi. Been out of trucking for awhile.
There was an All-American in Doswell, Va near Kings Dominion, and I know they closed. (In fact, I saw the "for sale" ad on a commercial real estate site awhile back.)
I seem to remember the rest of them being in PA. Off the top of my head I think Carlisle, Frystown, Duncannon, and a couple more that I've forgotten. Are they still around as independent? Did they turn them all into Pilot? They weren't big truck stops, but the showers were clean and the restaurants were pretty good back in the mid 1990s
Anyone know what happened to the All-American truck stop chain?

I always liked the one in Carlisle, PA. It wasn't a flashy place but it was comfortable. The upstairs phone room will always be a memory. I think it was about the most phones I'd ever seen in a truck stop.
I think there was one in Milton, PA or nearby. That one wasn't bad either.homeskillet Thanks this. -
All bought up by the major chains, then they were scrambled when the chain already had a nearby location.

OH by the way, since you have been out of it for a while, there aren't any more Union 76 truck stops around either. And they don't fill your tanks for you either, you have to do that yourself now. LOL
