Anyone leased to AW Transport out of Glenview, Il?

Just an update on this company. I'm running a few trucks and I sent in 3 driver applications and took them 2 weeks reply back that they can not verify previous employment when the previous employers never got contacted!!?!! Just wonder. How do they verify employment. 2 of these guys work at same company for 5-6 years. I don't know what exactly are they looking for. Just lost 2 weeks on this guys for nothing. Don't wast your time it's my opinion.

 

Did it ever occur to you maybe they don't have any interest in you? Plenty of other Chicago companies to choose from...

 

Will there be nice to say that they won't hire anymore or they don't want my business and I'm fine but giving you after two weeks and answer that makes no sense shows that something it's not quite what they are claiming to be.

 

That's good for you then, wouldn't you think? If they have a bad communication problem now imagine how they will be when you work for them...

Freight is slow all over right now, that could be a big factor

 

Couldn't agree more my friend. I just saw this post and wanted to let others know my experience with them.

 

Aw is horrible. Freight or no freight, they are liars, thieves, and cheats and couldn't care less if you make money or not. Wouldn't recommend them to a soul! Good luck!

We live in Oklahoma but my husband was gone for 2-3 months at a time staying in the east to make money and never turned down not one load and not once did he get a load that was more than $1.55/mile and that was the very highest. Hmm...

 

What is so funny about that?
