I did not go with 1845. Read several bed reviews which may be wrong but who knows. They also would not let me run my day cab. I figured it would work fine since running a 12 hour shift but they said no.

Shale Country Is Out of Workers and Dangling 100% Pay Hikes

"So many bus drivers with the Ector County Independent School District in nearby Odessa quit for the shale fields that kids were sometimes late to class."

Jeremiah Fleming, 30, is on track to pull down $140,000 driving flatbed trucks for Aveda Transportation & Energy Services Inc., hauling rigs.

“This will be my best year yet,” said Fleming, who used to work in the once-bustling shale play in North Dakota. “I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else.”

Is it going that good right now? Should I pack my bags and head east?

Did you read the whole interview with the Mayor who owns a cafe out there ? I saw the same article yesterday too.
But what they DIDN'T say was that they printed the same article many years ago and interviewed the Mayor THEN. They updated several of the Mayor's quotes this time, which makes sense because when they printed it the first time years ago that article had some holes in it because they alluded to the answers would be in the article but weren't there. The answers are in the new article because they included the mayor's quotes this time. They recycled this "news" from years ago. That doesn't mean that it's not busy now but it's misleading. At least in part.

They need more workers out there to drive down the rates and drive up the rents.

Plater has been in the patch for a long time and I would pay attention to his advice. What he said about they want more people there so the rents can go up and the rates ( paycheck ) can go down sounds about right. The landowners always want that anywhere, anytime.
