Recruiter mentioned this dedicated account to me saying it was for Kmart, Sears, and Home Depot? Anyone work this account? What is the pay like? How long are your average runs? Wait times?
Anyone run out of the DC in Romeoville, IL?

I second that, kinda curious myself. I got a sheet on it but the number to call is wrong on it. I'm not sure if they are all together or if you can run just one account? I would be interested in the Home Depot part but not sure on the rest.

Sears and Kmart are live unloads by the store if you can stand being down for up to four hours a day this is the account for you once in a while you'll get a store at the mall you are lucky cause all you have to do is just pull out the old trailer hook back up to yours and put it in the hole and leave real quick their might be 1 unload before you get to the mall. I can go on and on about this crappy account. Pay I wanna say is 34 cents a mile and for every stop besides first and last is 15$

I'm running the Sears/Kmart account now. If you like to run, this is not for you. Very few drop and hooks, mostly live unloaded but they tend to go quick as Romeoville DC is primarily appliances. Can't speak for the pay as it will depend on your company, for me its $20/stop plus mileage.

Recruiter said 800-1000 per week in your experience is that a realistic figure to hit consistently on this account?
-
Ask the recruitted these 3 questions,
Pay for stop
Avg number of stops per week
Avg weekly miles.
The figure is possible, but also depends on how much per mile. I know that on the Wal-Mart dedicated, it is likely, but they have about 10 additional stops per week, and they unload alot faster.sharp.dressed.man and GoBlue487 Thank this. -
The sheet I got (had to find it) says 2200 to 2500 miles a week. $20 a stop with 2-3 stops per load. $150 for less than 150 mile loads. Also says 100% drop and hook which I know is not correct.
hometime is 100 mile radius of Chicago or Detroit home weekly, other out 12 home for 2.
covers MN, WI, IL, IA, MI and northern IN.sharp.dressed.man Thanks this. -
Remember recruiters tend to stretch the truth to get you in. If you stay out the 12 days, its possible to do 2200 miles. I'm close enough to be home weekly but its usually only long enough for a restart. Avg 1500 - 2200 per week.
