has anyone seen the 7 falls in Colorado Springs? My mom was telling me i should try to go see it when I was there, she said she saw it back when she used to be a trucker.

you have to do what you have to do, you could of turned down the load though and reminded them of the home time.

You should still have time, if you don't make any more detours.

Let's see how our timing actually works out.
It would be great if you and your wife could join us.

oh I wouldnt have the time and finances to drive my wife to Colorado and get back in time to hit the road again. I have to have her drive to Mira Loma to come get me then drive back home, then drive me back with a round trip and then she is going the next day after dropping me off to visit her grandparents so im already looking at forking out too much money for some home time :p

maybe in the future though, if I ever get a truck big enough then I might take her out on the road with me for a week at a time, only hard part will be my daughter though figuring that one out.

    Moosetek13 Thanks this.

My hometime day is the 26th. This load picked up Saturday and 400 miles to grand island NE 1st stop at 6 am on Monday and 2nd stop 10am then go 132 miles and pickup another load by 3pm a live load and it doesn't deliver till 11pm the 25th 400miles load. Swift screwed up tho they have on the plan I can try and deliver 1/2 hour early on first load so I will be sitting in Kmart parking lot at 5:30 as soon as they are done I will be calling second store to see if I can get in sooner. Then head over to next load ASAP and shut down by no later than 5pm get up at 3 am and run and be sitting at consignee at 11am or earlier. If they don't unload right away I will see if I can sneak in a 10 hour break to run again.

I can undertand that, eating on the road gets old quick. If you two like BBQ Famous Daves is the place to go.Kind of spendy but well worth it.

I went to Famous daves once and was very disappointing with the dry meat and high prices and never bothered to go back. I would rather smoke some meats at home which i do once in ahwile. She loves Olive Garden so might go there or Red Lobster.
