My bet is that TQL settles this almost instantly. Pacific financial certainly won't have to pay out. If it looks like Pacific Financial MIGHT pay TQL will overnight the check.

Maybe quick pays is a way to go...not because of cash pressure but in order not to let them owe you too much. Just a thought. I, myself, don't factor, and there is a broker who owes me over 11 k for the loads I did for them lately. It is still perfectly ok as they have 28 days to pay. I am about to take another load from them but if there is a claim or whatever, they could also suspend the pay outs.

Problem with that is with quick pay they can reverse the trans action.

I use QP after having to chase down way too many receivables. It's a very nice feeling now to have your money in your acct after a couple days with no worries. For me that extra 2-3% is worth it. It would cost me way more to hire a receivables clerk. Plus with elogs coming, nobody has time to make collection calls.KB3MMX Thanks this.

A $33,000 load? What the heck were you hauling, diamonds?

Maybe he has 3 trucks running.
Anyway no matter what the amount is we all know the dirty practices they doKB3MMX Thanks this. -
I very seldom use them, maybe twice a year and only when I get the rate I want. Haven't had any problems. Lucky me I guess...

I went back and reread the original and see they are holding payment on all unpaid loads they had, not just the one late load.6wheeler Thanks this.
