I teamed for a bit with a driver who had never driven a manual rig, (even in a four wheeler.) All I can say is thank God we were running the Midwest, and not the mountains. He did eventually learn to shift, but I had not realized that I would have to be a trainer, when I signed on. He was a good guy, just inexperienced.

Doesn't matter. I was literally at the DMV today to take my test. It was people up there testing on 20 foot automatic flatbeds. Got a CDL with no restrictions
