It's just a battery that is charged by solar, wall, or car. If those sources are disabled, it's basically a boat anchor. Once charged, it can power small devices, say phone chargers and lights, for about 12 hours. I read reviews saying it was a waste of money and a gas generator does more.

My mom HAD one. Its crap. She got it brand new as a power backup for her insulin mini fridge. Apparently chargeing it with the solar pannel it came with AND powering a pre cooled 200w fridge were too much for it and it shorted out then burst into flames the first time she used it. and when she called to ask what the hell was told it was "user error" even though the manual said it was fine and they refused to warranty it.

4 patriots is more or less a #### scam and everything ive gotten from them is garbage tier quality. If you want a solar charger like that try one of the eco flows. Hers is still going strong.

Solar generators have their place like any tool. I find they are best for critical things like lights, phones, medical devices ect. Low to medium power stuff that you need constant power for even if fuel is scarce for whatever reason. We went solar for moms insulin and oxygen simply because shes so handicapped that getting out to start a gas generator is beyond her and the city they live in wont let them install an auto start one for whatever reason.
