Anyone use Seat Doctor in Ontario, CA to rebuild seat?

    Any experience/reviews of Seat Doctor's work? Guy is named Daryl.

    My Seat Doctor

    I rebuilt my seat already and put a Wondergel cushion in it and it made a huge improvement but the old foam is shot. the bolsters are crumbling, and covering is old velour.

    Would be nice to have fresh foam and a new Ultraleather cover with extra padding. Cost will be over $500 and that includes new armrest covers and foam.

    let's us know how that gell thing works. i bought one for my motorcycle and hated it.

    thinking a vibrating type of thing for motorcycles would work better. somewhere i read an article that vibration keeps the blood flowing better so the bumm bumm don't get so tired. but that was for motorcycles.

    I said I have the Wondergel in my seat now. I love it. I took my seat apart and cut a square hole in the old foam cushion to place the Wondergel. My boney butt doesn't get tingly and numb any more.
    But, everything else is old. I read where seat cushion foam only has a life of around 10-12 years depending on the type.
    I just want new foam and cover but he sells the gel cushion in the whole deal. The rest of my seat is fine. I'm only 160 lbs so it's not like it was stressed out with a 400 lb load all the time!

    $500 is a lot less than a new seat. Effectivly you will have a new seat after getting that work done so its a good deal really. I know who your talking about there in Ontario, I always wanted to check them out but never had the time to. For $500 I would definitely get it done.

    I looked into it when I was there...that's the one under the over pass from the TA right? They offered same day service, but it was too high for my taste just to have my own seat recovered. I picked up a replacement for $1000 with options my factory one didn't have.

    I have a 1997 old original seat in my Classic...

    I bought a seat cushion from Target for $5.00,works wonders....
