Anyone haul grain with raised roof truck that is 13 feet ? Just wondering how loads go in Midwest since most elevators are quite short . I can't get my 07 eagle into some but actually it is mostly my trailer that hits . it is only 78 inch I think
Anyone use tall trucks for grain

I've seen a few guys that do it but most do not. A lot of these elevators were initially built for smaller straight trucks....yet here we are today running full-sized Class A dumps and hoppers through them.
The biggest issue I've seen, worse than going through the houses though, are some of the individual spouts coming off of the bins. The tall boys have to go past the spout and then cut in and try and get under it and/or get backed under. And then the same goes for getting out after loading. -
And I should say to, my main farm and personal trailer I use is a very tall Mac dump bucket. I have never encountered a house or spout that I can't clear with it. There is one I only have about 1 1/2-2 inches of clearance...but clearance none the less.
