Anyone use the APU Center in Missouri?

I got a used one for ~$4000 installed, but you can probably do better. Last time I was there, 2 different guys were swapping out their original Perkins rigmasters for the brand new Kohler version (which is much quieter & has a stronger A/C)

 

If I'm around there I'll get it serviced. Not keeping track of hours but I always have a full service around this time of the year.

Ya, I saw that. It's a fixer upper for sure but cheap way to get into an APU. Get it on the truck and make sure the alternator works to keep your batteries charged using the auto start feature. That would be my first goal then start fixing and replacing other parts as you get the money.

A new Perkins engine goes for around $1,500 and less. I saw a whole bunch for sale once for $1,200 at a boat dealer.

 

I have the large oil pan. Rigmaster oil change interval is 1,000 hours per the Rigmaster manual
