I am an owner operator that has typically worked just in SC. As I am expanding my area to the entire Southeast, I wanted to take advantage of GPS fleet tracking. (primarily to automate IFTA reporting). Has anyone used a good GPS fleet tracking company that they like and is reliable? Thanks all!!

We are a small trucking company with 8 units and we are running with a system called GPS Insight. It works well, it has an iPhone app too. The desktop version is great, it shows all history, engine hours, idle time, average speeds etc. and you can get reports for any period of time, so one month or last 30 days, whatever you need. We like it.

We use Teletrac which has all of the functionality you describe. We are happy with their solution. We use it on 7 trucks

The Big Road fleet app does that in real time if you need. With only a small payment for the service. No new equipment to buy or install.

Good topic. Can you guys please post what the costs are?
We provide Verizon Wireless cell phones to drivers and I use their Family Locator feature. $10/month add on to my phone only....they don't charge or the phones that are being tracked. -
