The exploding when rear ended was a minor problem.

i actually DID have a 1997 Pinto. in fact, same color as the one in the pic, but with a white roof, not the tan one you see.

5 on the floor, no a/c, no power windows, locks.

i bought it used, and the salesman said something like, "you know, for only $1,000 more, i can get you into a brand new one, with everything"

i said, "nah, it just needs to get me back and forth to work, the wife has the Rolls"....

darned car served me good for about 4 years, then i traded it in for a new pick up truck.

really a neat little car. very good on gas, easy to park.

kids were ticked off i didn't "give it to them"....

but then, i'm glad i didn't, given what the problem was.......

my first pick up, i had the cap on it. was kinda a PITA...due to the blind spots.

my next truck, i didn't want one....

    then came winter...

and all that snow in the bed.

Always kind of liked those flattop ch models. A friend had one. It was a 96? Nice truck and hid its age well too. His was a 250?" wheelbase. Looked very similar to yours other than the colour.

Cluster #### delivering to that Costco. My one and only time. Its always posted on the board, 2 stopper, now i know why. Parked the wrong way up a one way street

6am apt and it was 1pm by the time i got out. Ran all the house trucks around me before they got me

242wb here. It's hard to tell the difference between the new ones like that not much has changed besides the blue DEF cap that gives it away

The biggest pain in the ### in NY is having to have everything permitted to each other, ie, me and my buddy Jim bob both have 102 permits for truck and trailer in ny, Jim bob drops a drive Shaft at magees diner headed beautiful Seneca meadows land fill, so to help Jim bob out I agree to kick his trailer off for breakfast, but I get nailed at the gate because even though I am only 101,500 with Jim bobs trailer and both have NY permits, they are not permitted to each other

ma any truck and trailer permitted can be hooked to one another

the trailer does not have sliding tandems so you really dont have any adjustability. no in milk hauling really worries axle weights, we are all on overweight permits, if the load is leaving the state we have to keep it under 80K gross
