Haha, I'm not that entertaining. I just learned from a young age not to let people push me around or I'd get walked on in life. I'm a young guy who knows what I want from trucking and not afraid to bust my ### to get where i want to be. I'm slowly working my way there. But I'm also crazy according to pb for wearing shorts in the middle of winter![]()
Anyone with a Lilac Black Pete? or Black Lilac?

I remember visiting my husband at Ty Crop when they were making those 53 ft walking floor chip trailers. I had no idea back then how big these trailers were until I stood next to them. I remember how impressed I was.
Does Chip hauling make decent money Longwalker? -
Where he works I think it was .67mile for a company driver plus hourly for waiting and chaining up. Teamsters job

Sara, O/Ops are paid by the ton, with heavy discounts on fuel/tires and tractors etc. I get paid $25 an hour but it works out to .67 cents a mile. Plus we get paid our hourly rate for detention or delays and for chaining up etc. Get me a Pete and maybe i'll come drive for YOU
I make $300 a day hauling ore. The chip guys can make $350 if they max out hours everyday. -
Heheh... thats good. I haven't got a "home" for my 2014 Pete Yet. I've been looking!! Getting a bit worried. I've got my 2013 Pete working infield right now, but I (as in me personally) want to drive longer haul. I have my fastcard - but I just dont wanna deal with the border.
I'd like to haul NGL as my 2014 will have a wet kit and t&e pump to give me flexability to haul just about anything. I don't think me and my truck are cut out for log hauling... I've thought of flat deck work - but i haven't found work that makes it worth while. I have this feeling i'm just going to continue hauling oil.
Everyone in oil seems so slow. Something will come up. But hey! If (and when) i get another Pete, I promise to keep you in mind. -
We were approved with PACCAR (for a KW or a Pete) but the loan terms they offered made my toes curl! I always thought bad things about Freightliner but I am so impressed and would buy another. IT'S AWESOME.
First time we spec'ed our own and I'm sure that helps us feel that much happier when we drive it.
We had a Volvo before this and it really hurt the wallet... as company drivers we had driven all kinds but Freightliner and Volvo (even Sterlings) and I must say for service, parts and performance (especially in Edmonton) Freightliner is head and shoulders above Volvo.
Can't wait to see a pic when you get it! Be looking for it!
