Looking for anyone with a FL Century class that came with factory rear diff. temp gauges. I need to get the part numbers and wiring diagrams for the sensors. If you know FL, you know that can't get squat without a part number or VIN from a truck with the original equipment. All I really need is the last 6 of a VIN from a truck that was factory equipped with the temp gauges.

I can see the confused looks now. :biggrin_25523: Yes, I have a Columbia, but I have transplanted a ~03 century dash cluster with full gauge package into it. Hence the lack of info on the extra gauges. It's pretty sweet, and all I have left is the EGT and two rear diff temp gauges. I have all the info on the pyro, so that leaves the latter.

Everyone at the local dealer thought I was nuts and told me it wouldn't work, but I proved them wrong. I think I know more about wiring these trucks than they do now. If anyone needs any help in that dept feel free to ask.

    Eric

Oh, so it had the pyro as well? Sweet! That should work great, I think my cluster is an 03. It has 14 gauges on the main cluster, the bottom two left are boost and pyro, and bottom two right are rear axle temps.

The reason I asked, I have the p/n for the pyro and amp-box from another vin I found, but I was thinking of just ordering a new downpipe with the thermocouple port already in it rather than welding a bung into mine. If it's not too expensive for the turn down elbow.

bad memory,no factory pyro on the 03 vin i gave you. i ordered without and installed manual one in center dash area. electric pyros suck. i installed coupler in the standard downpipe without the bung. run tap about 2/3 rds thru and dont over tighten it. talked to the guy i sold it to today and its still the way i did it. has 800k on it so it lasted this long.
heres my 06 vin in case you still want the factory set up with electric pyro/box and such. gauge is in lower left like you said ......W81807
    should be everything you need.

Yeah, I already have the p/n for the thermocouple and amp box. I just wanted to check on the downpipe with bung, and might just buy a new one if it's not too much. (after 8 yrs it couldn't hurt) So you just drilled and tapped the pipe, I guess they're thick enough to take a couple treads. I might try that if the pipe is high.

I was looking through my wiring diags and found the circuit numbers for the temp gauges and pyro in a provisional type chart on the firewall connectors. Mine are missing, go figure, so at least i know where run the wiring to for sure now. All I lack on the temps is the right pins in the cluster connector to wire them to. Already have that info for the pyro.

Just double checking that first one is LO not L(zero) right? The 06 is a CAT as well?

Thanks for the help I'll give this wrapped up eventually. Then on to a fuel gauge, LOL. I have a FL elec. gauge, just no p/n for the sender.

I checked on the down pipe behind the turbo from your 06 VIN. It's only about $40 or so. It looked slightly different in the diagram compared to mine, but it might be because it's a single exhaust. Wouldn't the shape/placement be the same from 01 to 06 on the cat turbo outlet?
