So I applied and got offered a job I thought it was for pilot flying j but I guess they bought out sc fuels a year ago so it’s driving for them as a wet hose driver pays seems pretty ####ty 28 an hour for training and 30 an hour after with ot after 40 and schedules that change whenever they feel like it
From the limited research it sounds like a crappy low end fuel job the guy said I would be going to construction sites and such and filling up equipment I’m in food service now so don’t mind the labor but I make 33 with ot after 8 and Dt after 12 and about 130k a year
most likely going to turn it down but just wanted to make sure I wasn’t turning down a good gig
Anyone work wethose for sc fuels (pilot flying j)

I let them know I wasn’t interested after thinking it over pay was way too low

SC Fuels? Pilot bought them out years ago. That is at least the SC Fuels that was in the west Texas Permian Basin. Where are you located?

Idk, sounds decent for a start fuel job in SC.
Apartments here start at 1500/mo for non-waitlist places or low income.
Starting pay for propane/diesel/gas/etc hazmat double tanker jobs can be as low as 23/hr. Half of them don't pay OT after 40, let alone 8.
I'd take a fuel job for anything north of 30/hr w/ OT personally if it was available. -

Do you live in HB? Superior and Cox both park trucks at the chevron rack on talbert and gothard, they would probably be your best bet.
duckdiver Thanks this.
