picked up there on occasion...give me international paper or a peanut plant any day. the stench at a chocolate factory is horrid.
-
Doing what? Are you going to be there otr driver or are you gunna be a delivery driver and they not just a chocolate company the sell a whole bunch of food
-
I know. They do lots of products from pizzas to pet supplies. The job in particular is direct store/warehouse delivery.

I have picked up at a couple of their water plants. The one in Red Boiling Springs (it has been a few years), but they were pretty good. Took forever to get there from Nashville. But I was in and out really fast.

I drive a Dr. Pepper truck to grocery stores and unload pallets into their back rooms. So I run in to all these other drivers from other companies and the Nestle drivers seem to have a pretty good gig. Mainly deliver pallets of Ice cream and frozen boxes of stuff like candy bars etc.. Most of them are either 48" or 53" all reefer trailers. You will be backing up to docks or liftgating the product in..not bad at all. Its a pretty easy job the worst part is dealing with the mean recievers at the stores and checking your product in/dealing with invoices etc.. it can be a pain at first but once you get it down its pretty easy. I just ignore the rude recievers and do my job and get out of there.
Colorato Thanks this. -
Interesting company. They seem to have things in order. The time frames they start and stop aren't gonna work out for me.

they are hireing for the dekalb il plant does anyone know what the pay and work is like there?

Nestlé is a decent company. I've been a delivery agent for 2 years for them. They pay is... Base plus stop rate in the Pacific Northwest. About $50k-$60k depending on route. Just check the load, drop and go. Some check in stores. Most loads are on pallets. Start times at 2 am or 3 pm. Weekend work too. Things have been changing route and pay wise.

Sounds pretty good. I have been wondering about these guys. Do you drive the straight trucks or the 53 footers? What's the difference? I see both of them at grocery stores. Mainly frozen pizzas such as Digorno and California Pizza Kitchen, and Ice cream. all pallet drops. Do they do foodservice as well? I know down here in Texas I saw a Nestle truck with a 53' California Pizza Kitchen paint scheme trailer at the restaurant unloading by liftgate. Just curious. I've never seen any driver position open in my area. Thanks
