How the hell did they get an appointment for 5 AM at a place that doesn't open until 7?
Never mind. I have a pretty good idea. In the LTL sector, we have what is called "the fake appointment". Basically this is what you get when someone can't be bothered to stop surfing Farcebook or playing Fantasy Football long enough to pick up the telephone and do their job.
Last week, I had an appointed delivery going to Johnny Janosik furniture in Laurel DE, attention "Johnny". Gee, I wonder if THAT one was real.
Sorry to hear that the truckload guys have to put up with the same crap. People should be fired promptly for this sort of thing.
