MNdriver, if I come up on you going the speed limit and you are not, do you move over so I can pass safely and legally?
I hope the answer is yes. if not you are breaking the law and causing a dangerous situation. forcing me to pass,on the right, in the merge lane. going the speed limit, mind you.
also, if the place has 3 lanes, yes it's high traffic. at RUSH HOUR, if it's 1400 it's not .
please allow truck traffic to legally pass, as the road was designed.
Anything me (4 wheeler) can do to make things easier?

If I an running the same pace as traffic and you come flying up expecting.me to.move, prepare to wait in your road rage fog.
What part of "same pace as traffic" do people not understand. -
I'll take that as as a no, you will stay in the truck passing lane, breaking the "slower traffic keep right law" and impeding the legal flow of traffic, forcing me to commit a moving violating and pass you on the right.
Am I correct, sir?
Oh, and I did stipulate I am going the speed limit. NOT flying up behind you. -
If I am pacing with traffic and not going faster or slower and you still catch me, then even at the speed limit, you are driving in a manner that is not safe to current driving conditions.
If traffic is pacing at 56-58 and you are driving at 60 even in a 60 mph speed zone, it makes no sense to go 60 mph. -
to that same token most roads the pace of traffic is well above the speed limit are u going to do 80 in 70 just keep up with the pace of traffic.... no because all it takes is one cop to be a "richard cranium" and pull u over for speeding. if u tell them that u were just going with the flow of traffic they're just gonna tell u "u were still speeding so im giving u a ticket" just because everyone else does it does not make it safe or right as numb said by u sitting in the middle lane is neither safe or smart

You are a riot just to justify you're supertrucker attitude.
-
i belive i was just stating a point not trying to advertise my supertrucker attitude and apparently u cant come back with an intelligent response so you have resorted to name calling very well then if i am a super trucker so be it i thank u for thinking so highly of me
-
Your attitude of superiority that all vehicles need to move out of your way regardless of the traffic situation is the issue.
YOU came here stating that.
I will continue to drive at the pace of traffic within the speed laws. YOUR desire to move out of the way so that you can speed and go past me be ######.
If you can't comprehend that driving the pace of traffic within the speed limit and as I do the speed limit or as close to it as I safely can. Yeah, I might fudge one to 4 mph over it to stay with traffic in a metro area, then the issue is not me.
You demanding that I must move to the right lane which I avoid because it is more dangerous to have to constantly adjust to merging traffic is wrong.
So loose the road rage and start to realize that you have to SHARE the road and not control it.Asphalt Anarchist Thanks this. -
I drive 58 in the middle lane in a 60-65 zone and right lane in a 70. I don't care about traffic that comes down the ramp unless its another truck. And no I'm not a company driver. There's just no reason to go faster to save some time if your doing local work.

im not saying im speeding (going over the speed limit) im saying why should YOU be the one to control the road and that is exactly what u are doing by hoggin up the middle lane ive said it umpteen times already its illegal to run in the far left lane in most states its illegal to pass on the right You are sitting in the middle lane doing UNDER the speed limit so YOU are controlling the road not me in order for me or other drivers to pass u safely WE have to break the law to get around you or we have to become sheep and follow
now answer me this why should we have to break the law when it is YOU who is already breaking the law because u refuse to stay to the right?
the law protects you if u are on the highway and there is a car coming up the on ramp THEY must yield to you. if they hit you they are at fault for failure to yield
and btw this post really is not just you we're talking about its all the company trucks that are governed at 62-65 that feel the need to hog control the road
so as you said we must share the road not control it and we must do so in a legal and safe manner if i am a super trucker so be it i like my cape in dark blue pleaseAsphalt Anarchist, Numb and dogcatcher Thank this.
