Saw a Corvette cut a truck off and throw on his brakes one time. After doing this he decided the car in front of him was going too slow. He sped out from behind him, cut in front of him and flipped him the bird. Litttle did he know that the person he just saluted was a police officer in an unmarked car. I saw the officer pull him over with his ticket pad in his hand!
Isn't it illegal in some states to cut a truck off?

DON'T DO THIS

I've come to find out that these dashcams can be a little deceiving. The fisheye lens tends to make things appear farther away. In this clip from my dashcam, when I hit the shoulder, I had full jakes on, and could not stand on the brakes any harder. I'm guessing I had over 50 psi pressure applied. I was loaded, and could feel the trailer pushing, wanting to jack-knife. I was running 68 mph. We were lucky that the highway had a shoulder, there was no lip to the shoulder. I was on the "gas" coming back onto the highway to stay under the trailer.

It's hard to see in the video, but when the car started around, it was headed to the shoulder, my shoulder at the same time I headed for the shoulder. I got the "Where the hell do I go now", feeling when I saw that.

How do I know the white car had to be driving in excess of 70 mph? Well that truck it was passing, was one of our other drivers. You just don't keep up with him. So to pass him, well...., you get the idea. That car could have easily put 2 of our trucks out of service. That's the least important, as it would have certainly ended his and the passenger's lives. Big hurry for what??? The other driver thanked me on the CB, for taking the shoulder. He and I both wanted nothing to do with the aftermath this moron was trying to cause.

So in regards to this thread... Don't do what this S.O.B. done. Slow down, and wait. This highway has passing lanes that are not all that far apart, roughly about every 5 miles. So if your running 70 mph, that's 51 secs per mile, or a wait time of 4.25 mins for the next passing lane.

SublimeJulian and DrtyDiesel Thank this.

Eaton, I'm very dissapointed in you. You had a chance to take one more of those miserable SC2 off the highways for the rest of us.

(Of course I'm kidding.)

Yes, I know, I'm sorry, I feel so ashamed that I didn't... Not really. However for some reason afterwards I wanted to turn around, go after him and run over him. Weird huh..

My boss has in the past stated, stay your ground don't move, run over them. I wonder if he could use that as a reason to terminate a driver, or how far it would go in a court when we're charged. Both questions are rhetorical.

This is why I always leave a big gap whenever I am behind a car that has to "all of a sudden" back up because a truck gets "stuck" in the intersection trying to make his turn.
