bleee, let's be honest here ok. I was a trainer at CRST for a couple years, then went on to be an instructor at one of their truck driving schools so i know a little about CRST, not only that I live in the same city as their HQ's and have a lot of friends that work there still. The .22 a mile that your referring to is a little misleading. Are you sure that your only making that? Unless they have changed it in the last year, which I admit I guess they could of after their lawsuit lmao, anyways. The way that it was for years was .22 cpm for ALL miles or .44 cpm on half. I know that is splitting hairs, but since CRST only does teams, your getting paid while you sleep. If you look on your paystub it should say something like that. Either way your making the same amount. Now if your making .11 cpm on all miles, and .22 on half then you have some serious problems there. Another question you have to ask yourself is are you burning up your pay check with advances? I've been there done that till someone pointed out to me stopping in Vegas and getting a 500 advance to gamble isn't really a good financial idea. I'm not pointing fingers so please don't take it that way. Just alot more goes into it. I worked at CRST for a long time and to be honest I made a whole lot of money there, just couldn't handle the 52 mph truck at the time otherwise I would still be there. Well , maybe not, bouncing the safety director's head off his desk was probably a deal breaker LOL. I know a possible way to get out of your contract if you went through CRST to get your license but don't know if it's still probable. I did it 24 years ago when i got my start at CRST but again, i'm not an attorney and you would have to find out if it's still doeable. Hope this helps ya
