Junior high. That kid was an 8th grader. I was ready to file sexual harassment charges against him. Luckily, he spent a lot of time suspended. He was creepier than any adult leech that I have ever encountered. I don't want to think that any of my students are having impure thoughts about me, but I have been told that it happens more than I would think. But this was horrible to have this kid be so overtly sexual towards me.

Thats just messed up. Makes you wonder where he learned it. My boys at that age were obnoxious, you know, my skateboard is better than so and so's yada yada, but they never had that on their minds. But, I taught them to respect women.

It's really terrifying how easily a ticked off kid can ruin your life with ONE untrue accusation! I'd hate to work with kids these days just because of this fear. How do you prove you did NOT do something? You can't. And kids these days darn well know it, too.

I had a teacher in grade 5 who wore VERY revealing blouses and bent over a LOT just about exposing them for everyone to see (I'm a woman, BTW, and couldn't help but notice it it was so obvious!) and I'm sure the boys in my class just loved her. I think back now and wonder, what was she thinking?!?!?! Grade 5 here is boys who are only 10 years old but still - not a good thing to do around ANY young men!!

Hate to tell you this, but some advanced 5th graders are having sex, and definetely thinking about it. I've seen people that dress like that, male and female both. I guess they are just excited about any attention that they get. Not me, no revealing attire for school. At least I'm older now, but years ago when I worked with high school kids I was even more careful because of my age. I was probably most worried about allegations when I was a driving instructor because I was young and in a car alone with a teenage boy for two hours at a time. And I did have the boys trying to impress me. No witnesses to back up my story should it ever need to be told.

I know I've had it on my mind since I was about 7 yrs old but never even CONSIDERED acting on it until I hit high school but the opportunity wasn't there so who knows?

I do know I knew where my kids were 24/7 until they hit grade 12 and there was no way they could have been having sex without me having at least a suspicion of it. Too many "latch key" kids out there - home alone in an empty house for an hour or two without parents - prime place for things that shouldn't happen to happen :biggrin_25513:

People have been lying for more than the Clinton years. Get real.
