I know there are many here that like and prefer android but as for me and my house, we like our little section of the Walled Garden.
So if there are other posters here that prefer the Apple Ecosystem please stop by and say hello and tell us what hardware and apps you like to use in your Truck.

In my truck, I use my new iPhone 6S Plus most of the time and an older iPad 3. The apps I use the most so far, for trucking, is CoPilot, Truckers Path Pro, and Apple Maps.
Looking forward to adding the new Apple TV if/when I add a TV to the truck.
I would not mind upgrading to the new iPad Pro as everything I do, from Checking to tracking orders, I try to used online options vs paper.
Still looking for a good option for access to the Internet while mobile but that will fall into place over the next month or two. -
ipad apps Keep truckin for log book is good.

We have elogs but I will take a look at it as a backup option should our QC go down for an extended period of time.

I've always had Android, most recently the Galaxy S5. Just recently I was given a company phone- Apple iPhone 5s. To be totally honest, I much prefer my Android. I really don't see what all the hype (not to mention the pricepoint difference) is all about. But, to each his own.....

MDFriday Thanks this. -
I just went to AT&T to get a new iPhone 6plus and while waiting around, I looked and it seems like there is not much price difference anymore in the top tier android phones vs. iPhones anymore. I have all my stuff set up on iPhone and have since the the 3 so it's just easier to stick with Apple now. I also use my iPad 3 in the truck as well. I'm a new driver(1year) and do everything via phone/internet from transflo, route & destination preview, even peoplenet has an app that allows you to receive messages as well as other info now. I love trucker path and have submitted several new truck stops to be added and they always get back in touch with me to let me know they've contacted the new place.
As far as Internet, I've got a 20gb plan and can tether my iPhone to anything that needs it.MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
i know this is about droid vs iphone, i prefer the iphone but got another question, who drops more calls in the OTR world,AT&t or Verizon or another carrier? trying to settle an argument lol

I have an iPhone 6 on Verizon and a Galaxy 6 on AT&T and honestly have not been able to tell a difference in coverage.
Very rarely does one phone have a strong signal and not the other.
