Sounds like a very nice setup you have there.

Any issues with CoPilot running on the iPad mini 4? I was looking at ways to separate the navigation piece from my iPhone 6S Plus.

So far so good, just so everyone knows, only the cellular model has the gps, data not required to be on but make sure it's the cellular model if you plan to run gps apps

    Good reminder... Thanks

I was looking at the mini to be my navigation piece and mobile hot spot for data if T-Mobile still has their deal going on data.

I have the mini 4 as well. Took advantage of att new unlimited data if you have directv. Does the mini stay charged while running GPS all day being plugged in? Does it get hot ever being on that long?

    Is "ram mount" the brand?

I was looking at something like that or maybe a way to hang it over my QualComm since all it does while driving is tell me HOS count down.

I heard about that plan too... We are in the process of moving so I might need to check into directv for home instead of cable.

I know AT&T would meet my online needs while OTR but I wonder if we would still need cable at home for faster internet.

I have a Nexus 5x. Free Wi-Fi hotspot built in. Just the right sixlze not too big or too small. Only costs $300 with no contract so I can get unlimited everything on Atat and get 4g LTE for $45 a month. It's awesome. You should try Android. It's the undisputed leader in operating systems. Only problem is that if you go Android you'll have extra money that you'll have to figure out how to spend. Me personally I got with a nice new York strip steak twice a month with all the money I'm saving.

"It's the undisputed leader in operating systems." ... I would dispute that statement and it helps to actually read the intent of this thread.

Glad you are happy with your choices.
