That hulu Grabber is pretty cool. I played with it a bit.

Bittorent is what I usually use. Also, most of what I watch is posted on the network websites for free, so even if I DL it off BT, it can't be too risky.

yeah, it depends on what you're downloading. Most shows they don't care about because everyone is doing it and whining about it creates a backlash of bad publicity. Took them long enough to figure that out. Grabbing rips of popular new release movies will still get you in trouble though.

Yup, but grabbing the latest episode of "Ice road Truckers" or "Mythbusters" tends to be completely overlooked.

And lets not forget, my favorite show ever, "Top Gear".

Their new pricing, to "conform more to industry standards" as they put it, is 5GB for $59.99/month and the "Unlimited" is now $69.99/month. However, I have heard that lately they are cracking down on over usage. If you go over your limit regularly, you will get the letter telling you to cool your usage or terminate your business with them. I don't have the 5GB with them, but I'm under the impression there is nothing "gentlemen's agreement" about it. Since they raised their prices and are growing, they are cracking down on those who regularly go significantly over their limit, even the "Unlimited" folks are getting letters. They have a disclaimer on their website now that states if you are the type of user who regularly requires "heroic usage" they are not for you. I've ordered the Unlimited plan with them. The attraction for me is no contract. The Virgin mobile no contract plan is insanely expensive for anyone who goes online even moderately. The bottom line is that if you're not downloading lots of music or movies/TV shows, you should be good even with the 5GB plan according to most of the people I've talked with.

Also-the sales guy on the phone told me if you order during the month of September, you get the USB air card for free. They just charge you pro-rated for whatever plan you choose for the month, plus around $45-50 connection/admin charge. They normally make you pay for the device, usually $99-$149.

I think they are the ones the Verizon bought out. Now they've started transitioning over to line up with Verizon's plans.

Where do I find the Cobra 475w inverter that's on sale for $30-$40? Do you have to buy it online? I'm leaving in a week so I need to get it quick.

I think it's Pilot that's selling them for that price.

I just found the advertisement online, it's an 800 watt inverter for $39.99 and there's a Pilot less than 10 miles from where I live. So you think we should get this before we leave? We are going to school for our CDL and then if we pass we'll be put with a trainer for the over the road training. Do you think it's safe to take with us through that whole process without there being a chance of it getting stolen? Although we really need to take the laptop with us too, so I guess taking that is even more risky.
