You'll probably hear from them in the morning with a few more questions then the fun part begins, they check your dac,mvr and calls all the places you worked in the last 10 yrs.Takes about 1 day to 2 days to get everything back.

Just wondering , i want to start applying to companies soon but don't yet have my cdl...that will come within the next 6 months or so. My question is how do companies go about verifying employment? I have been with my current employer for 11 years and want to get prehires while still employed with my current company which is in manufacturing and not trucking. I am worried they will ask my employer questions etc. that will seem obvious i am looking to leave. Can anyone fill me in on how this process works? Thanks in advance!

Is this putting the cart before the horse. Why are you looking to get out of your present job? If it doesn't matter then why care what they think?

My current job is essentially a dead end with no room for advancement. It matters to me because I would like to have as many prehires as possible while still currently employed just in case of the unexpected......whatever that may be. Not trying to put cart before the horse, just want to go about this in the right way!
