All in all is the "real world " traing what it is made out to be? Also cause you are in the thick of it what are they looking for in the pre trip, already passed it in ga along with the skills , is there a place to see what they are looking for??? Watch out for those #### 4 wheelers. Especially the ones who are yappin on the phone that is thier invisibility cloak or indestrucrible cloak... Be safe out there..

Primary objective of PSD is to get you to the point of controlling the truck safely & the skills to pass your license test. You'll also be introduced to what goes on with shippers & recievers.
TNT you will be learning the "whole shebang", actually doing the job 24/7 in a team situation. You will learn ALL aspects of operation preparing you to go on your own in your own truck. Everything from situational driving, dealing with mechanical issues, fueling, scales, dealing with shippers & recievers, the paperwork involved, management of your HOS hours of service, operation of Qual Com, & a whole lot more. You will be fully living the OTR life.
Can't get any more "Real World" than that. This is where a lot of folks find out this is not the life for them.
Pre trip is Pre trip. You must know it inside & out as it will need to be peformed at least two times a day. EVERDAY, WITHOUT EXCEPTION! Your life & everyone else's depends on your deligence to it. It is not just something that is passed, then forgotten. It will be part of your daily routine.

Yepper! One of the reasons I chose Prime was because of its rather unique Apprenticeship program. It's designed to be as close to learning on a family truck under a beloved (or not so beloved) family member. The one on one is pretty #### good, and its impressive for such a large company. I'm glad I came here. However, it isn't for everyone.
When I first came here, II was going to stay for a year then move on. Now? That plan has changed. I will likely be here a good long time; ad long as they don't suddenly turn into JB Hint. Lol that would suck. -
Good luck. Show them what you know...
