You won't need a hazmat endorsement until after you receive your CDL. It doesn't transfer from state to state... you'd just have to take the test again.

Patriot Act requires a background check, fingerprints by Da Feds. Takes about 30 days for approval, THEN you can go get the HazMat. I just got my permit and asked about those requirements. The awesome dude at the counter took the time to explain AND get me a paper letting me know how to apply online. If you need, I'll make you a copy once we get to Mighty MO. Not sure if we must do that or if Prime will. Nice to have the info just in case. Also gives a lot more time to study enough to ace that endorsement. LOL

It's a federal thing, this paper.

Its all part of the process. All of that, passport and the TWIC credential will be dealt with in due course during your training.

Then you just might be seeing me board in Bloomington-Normal, since that's a few hours down 55 from Da Windy and 1.5 hours north of Springfield. Either that, or we'll board the same bus after the 1 hour delay (transfer?) in St. Louis, assuming you have that, too.

Cool! Then, I can relax and just worry about not crashing in the simulator. LOL That would suck...

Just remember, no bad sim jokes in the sim room, and take no pity on Bambi.

This ain't summer camp, be serious, turn off the cell phone, and don't even think about being late.

Ironpony, thanks for all your feedback, I don't know if im crazy but I'm actually looking forward to the simulator LOL. Hopefully bambi doesnt try to comit suicide... My work ethic wont allow me to be late, Even at my past job i was always an hour early or more for work just how i am if you on time your late, if you early your on time :D Cellphone will be off, only time i may use my cellphone is per someones suggestion to use it in the securement class for flatbed to take pictures and I'll ask the instructors permission for that.
