    hahaha fair enough... but i think itd be more rough due to more traffic... also line-haul is rough with all your sub-service trailers.

    I agree a 100% thats why I never applied to go across the country. I would only do it if I owned my own truck and had my dog and my girl go with me. My friends told me I'd never get a local route, but I did. Good friend of mine wants a local route since he drove OTR for nine years, but wont get a position in LTL due to being 500 pounds.

    Honestly LTL is the way to go, hopefully CWF is good to you as it can be a good company.

    I have pretty close of the same story as the o/p. even at the bottom, if you're at a decent sized terminal (buffalo is 105 doors), prob will end up on Linehaul flex. Long nights, but you're still home in bed every night. I don't mind it. Fork truck was easy to pick up, I even get to work at a terminal with new ones.
