Ran through the recruiters presentation. Sounded really decent. She stated that they have a guaranteed pay of $1300 a week for the first 90 days, its a rolling average so it can go up, it can go down. Insurance at the first of the month after 60 days through United Health Care at a cost of $147 a week for a full family. 80% drop and hook flatbed, curtainside, and conestoga. Customer freight out of Elkhart, loads coming back. only has 49 trucks, Pete's, KW's, and Freightliner's. Paper and Elogs drivers choice about 20% run on Elogs. Orientation is 5 days long they put you in a hotel as normal, transportation to the site. The drivers ive spoke with about the company seem to like it. One driver said hes driven for 16yrs and this has been the first company hes come across that treats drivers fair. Recruiter had me fill out the intelapp, took me a whole 5 minutes, called her back and she said she would call me tomorrow and let me know on my scheduled date, most likely this coming monday.

Well that didnt work, got a call back today, seems they didnt think I had enough flatbed experience. 18 months total. Unless they thing my time at PGT wasnt flatbed.
