Was Colorado Brown taken? Cry me a freaking river already!! This job is about using your head and sadly common sense is something you're blessed with and it grows the more you use it. If it was half as bad as you say. Their would be blood and guts every few hundred miles. I'm guessing you would prefer people to wear extra tight blue jeans, a big Texas belt buckle, a leather cowboy hat, and snake skin boots.

You have to graduate out of being a steering wheel holder. The problem is some of these cats reads these forums. Watch the clowns talking into a camera on you tube and think how hard can that be. Don't follow instructions. Sign up for lease purchase deals then cry because they owe the company every week.

Everybody started at the bottom. Learning how to perfect their skills. Rather that be on some farm in Iowa or some TA in Ontario. Sadly no one is ever going to be as good as you, because you were born shifting two sticks and pulling 48 footers around NYC!

Be scared very scared because You are the one in charge of protecting your license and you can run around like a donkey expecting TVC or whatever that truck stop attorney crap is called to keep crap off your record. Then coming on the forum with your I got a ticket in a construction zone doing 15 over story. Thinking somebody's going to feel sorry for your candy tail. Just think of Colorado Brown the bloviating King!!

I disagree whole heartily and you know I love ya Dino, but the drivers today are a bunch of #######. We can't get drivers here because even though you can stay home 6 days, they don't want to stay out 3 weeks. Simple math is not so simple when it comes to these morons. .52 at 1300 miles a week or .40 at 2700 miles a week. On time deliveries are a dream with them. We are seeing a driver pool full of nitwits and ######## and it's getting worse because these mega carriers teach them not to think and they are happy with the bare minimum. As long as they have money for McDonald's and wifi to download porn it's all gravy. To them, dings and scratches and dents are "part of trucking" and if you can't get there on time, there's always tomorrow.

Where's the wifi to download porn? My data is running low. Good thing I've got a load of vasoline. Gotta go call my dispatcher now to let him know I'm running late and someone stole half my load.

Dynomite, I might give your position a degree of creedence, if you actually saw what I was saying.

I'm not saying everyone here needs to be 1,000-mile a day, cowboy and belt buckles type.

And for the record, you don't see me in those clothes.

But, when drivers don't know what sort of engine is in their truck, when they can't square up to a dock with a short wheelbase condo, when I smell brakes smoking every single day I go up in the hills, and it is invariably a mega fleet truck, there's a problem.

I learned around heavy haul, I started in heavy haul, I've driven smooth bore tank and hit tight docks in a 300-in WB square hood, run down the highway 16-ft wide, come off 9% and better at 125,000, run 15-11 tall...

And I've bought my own trucks.

    And I'm 24...

So, you tell me... where in the hell have I copped out or shorted myself rather than going at it full bore???

And any of the steering wheel holders expect sympathy when they thought a 6-week "school" could prepare them enough for this job???

You want a pissing match and call me a bloviating king, go right ahead... but, I doubt you were an O/O at my age...

And I highly doubt you were an O/O with your own authority and running oversize and overweight.

So, before you walk down that road, you ask yourself if I'm really getting too big for my boots when I can back up anything I just said.

Call it arrogance if you will, but, if you can't keep up, stay out of the way.

So, you keep running your little Dixie cup hauling van, and let those of us who can get work done get it done while you're going at the TA buffet. Congratulations, you're loaded heavy today at 78,500... I'm very impressed...

And that's what pisses you off... I'm half your age and done twice in this industry that you have. I've made my own job and write my own paycheck while everyone on this forum is whining about pay.

I don't ask for sympathy and never have on this forum.

By the way... regarding two sticks... I drive a 6x4 every day... kinda cuts at the legitimacy of your response when you couldn't even drive my truck... pretty sure I could figure out pressing the "D" button on yours...

Hey oversize big head. When your head is so big no wonder you need to haul over size. I haul meat and have been doing so for most of my career. You make @freightwhipper look like a modest saint. I don't give a crap what type of engine I have. I don't know how many horses. I don't know the wheel base. I don't hit every dock perfect. I have no desire to be an owner operator and pay all these taxes so my truck can be at an alignment shop every other week or pay 800 bucks for steer tires every 10 months. If all you wanted was a pat on the back why didn't you say so. I could careless if you are 24 48 or 64!! Keep up the good work and enjoy your career.

All we need is more big head braggarts thinking they have figured it all out. You and the Wipper should exchange numbers and become the best of friends. Maybe you could keep your conversations to yourself and make fun of those who are not as intelligent as you. Maybe post a couple of selfies of you two swimming in your money bends looking like a duck.

I do believe I've wasted enough of my time talking to King B!! Good day sir!!

A big ego is dangerous...as many that are much older will tell you...and you will one day tell someone...best of luck in your future endeavors...life isn't what you think it is.
